Catalogs

The Print Catalog, Princeton University Library Catalog and WorldCat Catalog are all great research tools. The library catalog contains descriptive records for print and other physical materials.

Summon (Discovery)

Explore topics, renew books, and save citations and searches — all in one place. Summon includes all the print catalog content, plus full-text articles, e-books, e-journals, conference proceedings, the Theological Commons and other Digital Collections, theses and dissertations, video and audio recordings, images, manuscripts, maps and more.

Print Catalog

The print catalog is a database of physical materials held by the library. You can use it to find books, journals, and DVDs (and some other formats) in the library’s collection. Items in the print catalog can also be found in Summon.

My Account

Access your library account to view checkouts and due dates in the My Account area of the print catalog, in the Library Card area of Summon, or via the MyLibrary! mobile app. Opt-in to receive automated courtesy notices from Wright Library and renew checkouts via text message.

Princeton University Library Catalog

Faculty and students of Princeton Theological Seminary may borrow materials from the Princeton University Library.

WorldCat

WorldCat.org is a great resource for locating unique, trustworthy materials that you often can’t find anywhere except in a library. And by connecting thousands of libraries’ collections in one place, WorldCat.org makes it easy for you to browse the world’s libraries from one easy search box.

BrowZine

Browse many of Wright Library’s online journals and download articles with BrowZine. Use the Web version, or download the free mobile app, and select Princeton Theological Seminary as your library. Create your own bookshelf of favorite titles and catch new issues/articles as they become available with email notifications from your free BrowZine account.

Browse and search by title or ISSN, and search for articles by DOI or using the Citation Linker.

Periodical Reading Room Title List

Current (print) issues of selected journal titles on display and available for browsing on the First Floor. Older volumes are shelved (by call number) on the Lower Level unless otherwise indicated.

Journals at Wright Library

Wright Library’s collections include thousands of print journals and access to more than 1.9M e-journals. Authorized users have remote access to licensed online journals. BrowZine, an online journals portal, browser extensions, catalog and discovery are available to support use of these materials.

Theological Commons

The Theological Commons is a digital library of over 160,000 resources on theology and religion. Developed in partnership with the Internet Archive, the Theological Commons contains books, journals, audio recordings, photographs, manuscripts, and other formats dating from the medieval era to the present.

Internet Archive

The Internet Archive is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and maintaining a free and openly accessible online digital library. Wright Library at Princeton Theological Seminary houses one of the Internet Archive’s regional scanning centers. The Theological Commons is the result of a long-standing partnership between Princeton Seminary and the Internet Archive.

HathiTrust

Wright Library is a member of HathiTrust, a digital academic library. Logging in to HathiTrust will allow you download the full text of public domain items.
